Shipping & Delivery Policy

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: This Shipping Policy ("Policy") is incorporated into and subject to the Twistale Terms of Service. By placing an order for physical goods (books, merchandise) on www.twistale.com, you agree to the terms below.
1. WHERE WE SHIP (GEOGRAPHIC LIMITATIONS)
At this time, Twistale ships exclusively to addresses within the United States.
- International Shipping: We do not currently ship to international destinations.
2. ORDER PROCESSING VS. SHIPPING TIME
It is critical to distinguish between the time it takes us to create/pack your book and the time the carrier takes to deliver it.
- Processing Time: This is the time it takes for Twistale to print, assemble, and package your order. Standard processing time could be up to 7 days. This period is not included in the estimated delivery time.
- Transit Time: This is the time the carrier (USPS/UPS/FedEx/other) takes to move the package from our facility to your doorstep.
3. ESTIMATED DELIVERY & NO GUARANTEE CLAUSE
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING DELIVERY DATES: While we strive to provide accurate estimates, Twistale does not guarantee specific delivery dates. Any delivery timeframes provided at checkout are estimates only provided by the carrier and are not binding commitments.
- Carrier Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier, including but not limited to weather, mechanical failure, high holiday volume, or local carrier operational issues.
- No Refunds for Delays: Shipping fees are non-refundable for delayed deliveries unless the delay is caused by our internal processing error.
4. RISK OF LOSS AND TITLE (SHIPMENT CONTRACT)
All purchases of physical items from Twistale are made pursuant to a shipment contract.
- Transfer of Liability: This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you (the buyer) upon our delivery to the carrier.
- What this means for you: Once we hand the package to the shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, etc.), Twistale is no longer liable for the package. If the package is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, you bear the responsibility to file a claim with the carrier. We will assist you in this process by providing tracking numbers and proof of shipment, but we are not required to refund or replace the item at our cost.
5. SHIPPING RATES
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Rates are based on the weight of your products and your location.
- Free Shipping: If we offer free shipping promotions, these apply only to standard ground shipping within the contiguous United States unless otherwise stated.
6. ORDER TRACKING
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number.
7. INCORRECT ADDRESSES & REFUSED SHIPMENTS
You are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address.
- Wrong Address: If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you (e.g., missing apartment number), you will be responsible for the re-shipping cost. We are not responsible for packages delivered to the wrong address due to user error.
- Refused Deliveries: If you refuse a shipment upon delivery, you are responsible for the original shipping charges and the cost of returning the package to us. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund.
8. LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES ("PORCH PIRACY")
Twistale is not responsible for packages marked as "Delivered" by the carrier but which you report as missing or stolen.
- Recommendation: We strongly recommend monitoring your tracking link and being present to receive the package.
- Investigation: If your package is marked delivered but missing, please check around your property and with neighbors. You must contact the carrier directly to open a "Lost Package" investigation.
9. FTC COMPLIANCE NOTICE
In compliance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) "Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule": If we are unable to ship your order within 30 days of the original estimated shipping date, we will notify you and offer you the option to consent to the delay or cancel your order for a full refund.
